These are the terms for using ErosBoda, the planner at app.erosboda.com. They are short because the service is simple: it is free, it is run by the operator named at the top of this page, and we would like both sides to know where they stand.
The service
ErosBoda is a hosted wedding planner. You use it to build a guest list, send invitations, collect replies and plan tables. It is free of charge, with no paid tier, and we may add, change or remove features as it develops.
Your account
You need an account to plan a wedding. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for what happens in your wedding, including what the people you invite into it do.
Your guests’ data
You add your guests’ names, contact details and, if they share them, their dietary and accessibility needs. Those details are theirs. Use them only to plan and run your wedding, and point your guests to our privacy page so they know where their details are kept. Under data protection law you are the controller of your guests’ data, and we process it for you as described on that page.
Acceptable use
Use ErosBoda for weddings and celebrations you are organising or helping to organise. Do not use it to send unsolicited messages, to store anything unlawful, offensive or that you have no right to hold, to probe or disrupt the service, or to copy it in bulk. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
What we promise, and what we cannot
We look after the service with care: it runs in the EU, it is backed up, and data travels encrypted. But it is a free service and we provide it as it is, without a warranty. We cannot promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes, and we are not liable for losses that come from using it, beyond what the law does not let us exclude. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose: you can export your guests and replies as a CSV at any time.
Ending
You can stop using ErosBoda whenever you like. Export your data, then ask us to delete your wedding and your account, and we will.
We may discontinue the service. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email so you can export your data first. We may also close accounts that break these terms, or that have been unused for a long time after the wedding date, after writing to you.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new date, and we tell you by email about changes that matter. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
Law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If a disagreement cannot be settled by talking, the Spanish courts decide it. If you live elsewhere in the EU, this does not take away the consumer protections of your own country.
